“…I would like to thank you so much for awarding me with the Newtown Arts Company Scholarship Award. I am so honored and grateful to you and the committee who selected me. This scholarship has gone, and will go, a long way for me and I will make sure to continue working, improving and doing everything I can to ensure that I am still worthy of it.”

— Elizabeth Schorr, Hartt School, University of Hartford

"I am honored to have received the Newtown Arts Company Scholarship towards my tuition at Stony Brook University. I'm excited about pursuing a career in the performing arts. Thank you for your support.”

— Molly W. Warren, Stoney Brook College NYU

"Thank you so much for renewing my scholarship for the 2011–2012 school year. This year I got a lead in our 'opera in a can' project and I'm going to pursue French to strengthen French opera which has become my main focus. Thank you!”

— Laura Maloney
